Daniel Sarango
Father - Horseman - Ecuadorian
Daniel started riding horses at the age of four.
By 2004 he was a respected member of the mounted police in Ecuador. There he started competing professionally in show jumping and dressage.
In 2010 Daniel started eventing where he would compete with his own horse as well as those owned by the police force and private owners. The following year he was selected to represent Ecuador in the Pan American Games with his own horse, Don King.
Shortly after a move to the United States, Daniel joined the Pollard Eventing Team in 2012.
Again in 2015 he was selected to represent Ecuador in the Pan American Games with Morgan Shaw’s horse Carmac. He competed up to the THREE STAR level as well as in Grand Prix Show Jumping.
In addition to competitive riding, Daniel has experience with breeding horses, raising, breaking, training, and working with young horses. He has experience working with horses experiencing behavioral or training problems as well.
Daniel also produces his own horses.

KONINKLIJKE DIAMANT DS
Koninklijke Diamant DS — known as True Love — is the embodiment of power, focus, and consistency.
He was Champion in the 4-Year-Old Jumpers Under Saddle and placed third in the 5-Year-Old division of the Young Horse Series.
His momentum continued with a third-place finish in the prestigious Tryon Derby and another third in a $25,000 Grand Prix, along with multiple clear rounds in $30,000 Grand Prix classes.Out of ten shows last year, True Love claimed seven wins, two seconds, and one third across Welcome Stakes and Mini Prix events.
He was the only horse in Georgia to win three Mini Prix classes in a row and started the season with a victory in the $5,000 Welcome.Every stride reflects Daniel’s philosophy — a blend of calm precision and explosive athleticism, refined through years of careful training and trust.

ICARUS DE CHATSWORTH DS
Icarus DE Chatsworth DS — simply Icarus — represents the next generation of Daniel’s vision.
From his early days, he showed rare talent, finishing second in the 2-Year-Old Free Jumping division and earning first place in the 3-Year-Old category with the highest score of the entire show.
He continued his winning streak as Champion in the 4-Year-Old Jumping Under Saddle and later placed fourth overall in the Young Event Horse Championship Qualifier.This season, Icarus secured first in the $2,500 Welcome, fourth in the Mini Prix, and fourth in the Tryon CCI2-L.
Now competing as an FEI 2-L* horse, he has officially qualified for the Bolivarian Games in Lima, Peru — a major milestone on his international path.Icarus combines scope, elegance, and heart — a true reflection of Daniel’s approach to building athletes ready for the world stage.
